The Mission Statement of Ever-Expanding Realm of
SOUNDCTUARY:

A vision of all-encompassing universe welcoming unconditionally all Sounds - regardless of origin, system of thinking and beliefs.
Intention to explore and implement the idea of freedom, to enhance an awareness of human relationship with surrounding environment through practice of listening. A hope to create stimulating sensual, spiritual and aesthetic experience.

Until now, two permanent and multiple temporary Soundctuaries were established: one public in Mountshannon harbor park* and another one private in Cappaduff, both places now teeming with endemic and alien soundlife. Temporary soundctuaries were so far reported from Whitegate, Portumna and Fanore on Atlantic coast, all in Clare in Ireland.

This website documents the richness of sound-population with aim to connect with local community (including school), looking for practical applications and introducing Mountshannon Soundctuary also as outdoors micro-gallery to display art artefacts and installations.
